    GRIFFIN, Ga. — A metro Atlanta city of about 22,000 recently learned they were scammed out of $800,000. The city manager of Griffin said he was shocked to learn of the scheme. Now we’re learning how it all went down. A city employee thought they got an email from a vendor the water department works with. But it turns out it was a cybercriminal who spoofed their email address was able to steal several hundred thousand dollars.     ATLANTA — Atlanta Police and Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta are hoping a newly released sketch will help them find a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her own apartment. The incident happened on May 31 at Colonial Square Apartments at 2637 Old Hapeville Road, a statement from Crime Stoppers said.     Man hit by stray bullet at DeKalb County apartments

    DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) – A DeKalb County man is recovering Tuesday after being hit by a stray bullet that flew through his apartment window. DeKalb County police were called to the Fairington Village Apartments a little before 1 a.m. after a call of a person shot. According to witnesses, the man was on the phone when he was shot. The unidentified man was transported to Grady with non-life-threatening injuries. Right now, police believe the shooting to be a random shooting.
